Poll Question:
Mace said that I had to do another poll if I wanted to hear his rant on how they have completely ruined the face of Toril. So, Yes or No?!

Choices:

Yes
No

"No" vote on account of my opinion that views on Candlekeep--whatever their content--should be shared freely, without prodding or begging or polling, or vitriol. This is not a presidential primary.

I concur with Garen. Anyone is free to share their opinion, so long as they adhere to the Candlekeep Forum Code of Conduct. I certainly don't think we need a poll asking for an opinion.

I just wanted him to rant again because I find them enjoyable, and he often does a good job of putting how I feel about what they are doing; but he told me he needed a poll to confirm people wanted to hear (read) another of his rants.

I agree, but the thing is this, I (might) have been too straightforward/too rough/too brutal with some of the stuff I've said, and I do not want to:

a) get my blood-pressure up again if this sort of thing (my rants) is unwanted

and

b) offend people by my less than nice way of putting things

Hence I ask for a vote... I was in part, also, joking, cuz, believe it or not, I believe a certain amount of tongue-in-the-cheek, right now, is a very good thing.

If the majority of the people do not want to hear me rant about it anymore, and I certainly have no problem if they do, then I will stay a little less vocal.

Mace's not so gentle gamer's journal My rants were harmless compared to this, beware!

I would love to hear another rant, if Mace wants to do it.

"Instead of asking why we sleep, it might make sense to ask why we wake. Perchance we live to dream. From that perspective, the sea of troubles we navigate in the workaday world might be the price we pay for admission to another night in the world of dreams."

I'm not speaking against another rant. I just don't see the need for a thread asking for another rant.

Well met

Aye, i'm with Wooly. No need for us to add unneccessary scrolls on this matter. Mace's leash needs to be shortened anyway

It started out as a close race, but it seems that there are still more "yeses" than "nos." Or do you need more votes Mace?
