Yes. This was loosely established in the novel Darkvision.

The Feywild is part of the 4E realms cosmology. Though it now has more prominence, it has technically always been there since the plane of Faerie has long been tied to the lore of the Realms.

The Darkwalker books were my introduction the Realms, so I've always had a soft spot for the Moonshaes. So this was brilliant.

I have one question though Brian. Are you able to able at all to fill in any 'history' for the years between 1374/1375 and 1479 for the Moonshaes? If not now, then when the new FR version is released? The Grand History of the Realms is brilliant, and having it updated (so to speak) to cover 'the missing years' would allay a lot of my concerns about the 'old' and 'new' realms being linked lightly at best.

Though I have no plans to do so at the current time, I would really welcome the opportunity to fill in some of the history for all the Realms during those years.

Well, considering Rich Baker wrote this -

quote:
From Year of the Ageless One
No one will ever be able to create a comprehensive chronology of where and when each outbreak struck, or how each town and city fared through the chaos of the Plague Years.

It seems he's pretty much covered the bases, and plain, flat-out told us there isn't going to be any sort of timeline.

Nice and open-ended, so that the designers don't have to be bothered anymore with knowing past lore.

After quoting that, it makes me wonder who the 'Ageless One' is? Elminster?

That cements the gap between the old Realms and the new ones. No one has to bother with old lore of the last 30000 years if he want to join a Realms game, because the current lands are a whole different beast.
But of course a DM can reintroduce old lore if the adventures explore the remains of the past. But he needn’t to do so immediately since the new setting is self-contained.

I'm sure if you ask your brother, he likely has a copy he could share.

Hmm... Strange, it worked for me. Did you copy+paste both URLs (without any space) in your browsers address bar?

If that doesn't work I, or some other scribe, could send you the file.

You know, it may come as a surprise for some, but I was just thinking about this article the other day.

I couldn't see this article being a player in a Moonshae isles campaign, it is spectacular.
