Not that I am too worried, my post count always says 0. And that, quite frankly, is not the case. What has gone wrong?

Your post count is at 0 because the "Welcome to the Forums" area is a non-credited area. It's a place to say hi to new scribes or welcome back old ones or congratulate those who have earned the title of "Learned Scribe". In short non-realmslore items.

Hope this helps.

Well Met

Indeed Artalis is correct, Pendangorth. This is merely the entrance hall to Candlekeep and a place to speak to and welcome other new scribes, there are many chambers and rooms beyond for those wishing to share their knowledge.

Well that's good to know. I don't mind too much as I said anyway- my expertise as a scribe is not shown by how many posts I put on this forum anyway in real terms. Alaundo, what's your favourite game then?

Hang on a minute- I have posted at least 1 post elsewhere, in the inn I think. I presume that is not counted either then...

Quite correct, Pendangorth, the Inn is much like that Welcome area in that respect.

....as for your question on games... ::chuckles:: unfortunately I have no time for such activities, far too much work to do in the library

"Chuckles," Are you actually interested in the games this forum is based on then, or do you moderte them purely for a job- or am I allowed to ask that?! And one more thing- I seem to remember that Exiliana is on here to "call a truce" between Candlekeep and Caphcerat's forces. (Basically Exilion, unless you hve seen Trikketh, Xpyros etc. on the site.) Is it too late for Exilion to recieve yours and the company of Candlekeep's forgiveness? When Exilion is not meddlesome, his is good writer with plenty of imagination- although in Golgat I am an enemy of Exilion.

Indeed I am very interested in the Realms, Pendangorth. Much of my time is spent reading stories and lore of the Realms. Actually venturing out for adventure is a different matter, and unfortunately, something of the past...... or maybe I should get that old dusty backpack out once more

I am sure Alaundo that your adventuring days are not over. I hear there are some living in the realms who are over 800 years old- so there's no excuse for an early retirement!

Alaundo may have been a great adventurer back in the old days * seeing that Dantrags scheme to get Alaundo back to adventure he finishes up sweeping the cellar. He may be old, but he gives back acheing chores*

I would imagine that typing messages with a keybord would probably affect your fingers more than your back. But then, that's just me...

I agree, Pendangorth! You know, some people can take things much too seriously. Relax, everyone! Need you pretend that you are all witches and wizards? No! Just do some DMing , and chill out, you guys!

Through the keeps of Candlekeep, Omega holds unto you a faith that cannot be jeopardised, for he is the one in Candlekeep that will not understate the lord of the future.

Hey, sometimes we post in character, and sometimes not. You don't like it, then (as my mother would say) tough cookies.

i dont think we should be limited to posting in character, but doing so adds a quality to the boards, which i personally value.

It shows that all the people within are serious about the subject matter, as am i.

And the fact that it helps a person get more into their character's little quirks. ...well, maybe that's just me. ::shrugs:: oh well.

A lot of gaming people I know use this method of in-character posting to further develop their own PC's personality and behaviour. It is really quite interesting.
