Among the many projects I'm undertaking, I'm compiling a list of both official and homebrew prayers and rites of the Realms from different faiths.
Here is a google document with examples of rites and prayers from my campaigns and official sourcebooks.
Anyone who is interested can cooperate and add both additional sources from their own campaigns and official sourcebooks.
All are welcome and you can either add to the file (anyone can edit) or post it here.
In the file you can find some examples with Selunite and Chauntean rites. There are many more in the works. I'll update it regularly. I'll also post some under this topic.

Sample rites and prayers:
Selūne
- Generic Selūnite prayer. This one was uttered by the Silverstar Alusiia Freemantle together with the adventuring band Guardians of Hullack in Eleasis 1350 DR somewhere in the Kings Forest and elicited a manifestation of moonfire by the goddess (HB):
Waning Moon, keep the light!
Waxing Moon, shine on bright
Newborn Moon, dark and still.
Fullest Moon, guide my will!
Our Lady Of Silver Shines Upon Us All!
Upon us all
Upon us all
- Multifaith marriage rite (Torm - Selūne) as officiated by Arymin Tessain Priestess of the Silver Refuge Temple in Satfron - and Barhammir Stormlund, Enforcer of Torm, in Eleint 1350 for the marriage of Esvele Ambershield and Garlin Pennert, both lionars of the Purple Dragons in Satfron, Cormyr (HB).
Arymin: "Under the night sky and the silver light of Our Lady, two souls meet, two lives intertwine like the stars in the firmament. May your love be like the moon, ever present even when hidden from the eyes; may your lives follow the cycles of night and day, illuminating each other in darkness and light. And may your union bring hope and comfort to those around you, as the moon guides wayfarers on their journey. Our Lady of Silver, shine upon our wonderful young people the gift of fruitfulness and joy, may Esvele and Garlin shine with love in the light of your holy stars."
Barhammir: "Torm, as you grant our weapons strength and power to defeat your enemies grant our beloved Esvele and Garlin the strength to live a life full of love and glory, fruitful in offspring and light! Life is a battle, and marriage a covenant of honor. Today you swear fidelity to each other, not only in love and joy, but also in trial and suffering. May your sword never waver in protecting one another, may your oath be as firm as the rock on which we stand. As Torm watches over his faithful, may your love be an unwavering light, a beacon of justice and glory."
After the blessings, the priests tie two ribbons around the bride and groom's wrists (a silver one for Selūne, a steel-colored one for Torm), entwining them as a sign of the balance between their faiths and their eternal bond. Arymin: "As these two strings intertwine without breaking, so let your bond be: strong, indivisible, illuminated by faith and hope.".

An ancient prayer said to have been known amongst the Sarrukh. It's controversial for the specific wording of the second verse, which has led to numerous fights amongst sages for the last five centuries ever since it was dug up from a ruins on the Chultan peninsula. Moon light, Moon Bright, First Moon I see tonight I wish I may, I wish I might, Have the wish, I wish tonight.
Carvings on this tablet seemed to hint at the existence of a second moon in the rotation around the world, and that this moon might normally appear during daylight and appear prismatic with refracted light appearing as rainbows surrounding a clear corona filled with thousands of slightly oblong dark specks.

Very interesting, thanks. Is this from a personal campaign? |

Nah, just made it up on the fly as a possible heresy or lie created by Leirans hinting at a "crystal sun" or "ice moon" that's filled with dragon eggs that may have been shattered, resulting in a rain of dragon eggs. As another note, rainbows and rain are often associated with couatl wings for tie ins to the whole Sshartrune, Jazirian, Shekinester, Parrafaire story.
Oh, and its got an obvious base in the children's poem "Starlight/Starbright" which is about a falling star instead of a moon. |

-Great stuff! For my homebrew setting, I was once looking to plunder some FR stuff to either directly rip from it or adapt it to my world and yeah, I was really surprised at some glaring omissions when it came to "minutia" like this in regards to religion. The actual words for prayers, okay, I can understand, but I was really surprised that we don't have canon names of holy books (if any) for one, or the names of special prayers (ie "The Lord's Prayer") or things like that. |
