Hi!

It's Alberto from Naples (Italy).
I'm 48 and a long-time fan of the Realms. For some reasons I hadn't found this forum until now, a time when forums are considered obsolete... but I still love them.

What to say?
I've been a DM for 35 years and keen devourer of anything Realms related. I teach English and translate for a living, in my free time I write essays and novels (mostly sci-fi and fantasy).

Excited to be here!

Welcome Alberto - what's your favourite area of the Realms? What era do you love the most and DM in?
Naples is a beautiful area in Italy - I love Capri and Pompeii in particular!

Thank you guys!

As for the questions:

It's hard to choose but if I had to I'd say Cormyr, the Dalelands and the Sunset Vale.
Cormyr is just so full of adventure hooks! But all areas of the realms are...

Mid 14th Century. I often love playing before the "big times".
Right now I'm running a campaign set in 1350. We started in July last year in the Hullack Forest and now my players are embarking on a long journey all the way to the Sunset Vale.

Oh you've been there! Yes I love Capri.
I moved to Central Italy a few years ago, which is great for hiking

Welcome to Candlekeep!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!

As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!
