Why not?

1) Shield Dwarf or Gold Dwarf Paladin of Moradin. If taking place around Citadel Adbar, they might have levels in the Hammer of Moradin PrC (Player's Guide to Faerun).

2) Human, Shield Dwarf or (Wood or Wild, depending on the region) Elf Barbarian with levels in the Hordebreaker PrC (Silver Marches).

3) Elf Ranger with Humanoid (Orc) as top Favored Enemy. Might have levels in PrCs like Foe Hunter (Masters of the Wild) keyed to Orcs, or possibly the Deepwoods Sniper (Complete Warrior).

4) Cleric of a Dwarven or Elven deity, likely one with the Protection or War domain. Might end up focusing on healing or buffing spells in order to mitigate orcish offensive capabilities.

5) Rogue with equipment, feats and skill ranks to use subterfuge against the likely dim-witted Orcs in order to make their plans unravel. Also likely would utilize poisons or alchemical substances in order to weaken certain powerful targets in combat.

6) Sorcerer or Wizard who focuses on spells that weaken Orcs, namely make them less able to hit the party in melee combat. Maybe also some spells that can blow them up if they assemble en masse (ex: Fireball, Cloudkill, Horrid Wilting, etc.). Warlocks and Warmages may suffice in this regard. If taking place in the North and a massive horde of Orcs (maybe some goblinoids and giantkin as well) is a major campaign focus, this party member could be a member of the Covenant (as mentioned in The Grand History of the Realms, City fo Splendors: Waterdeep, and Champions of Valor) that attempts to sway the Uthgardt Tribesfolk into aiding the party.

Any suggestions?

Have a knight who will shield the sorcerer/wizard. Foe Hunter would be my preferred elf ranger prestige class. Deepwood Sniper would go with any archery class, even if skills are cross class. I would expect orcs to have giant allies by the way. You'll really appreciate having a high-level Hammer of Moradin in that case.
