I was not aware of this! I've not paid much attention to Dragon+, since there's no easy mechanism to download the articles to pdf and the one time I tried the copy/paste routine it was a formatting nightmare.

And I am now calling it Christmas season, and doing my annual resurrection of this thread. The links have been checked and are still good, and I've stickied this thread again, until after Christmas.

It is Thanksgiving in the US, which marks the traditional start of the Christmas season... Which means it's time for my annual thread necromancy, for those DMs inclined to run Christmas-themed sessions for their groups.

I have confirmed that the links for the 3.x and 5E content are all good.

Enjoy whatever seasons you celebrate this time of year!

Master Rupert,

Thanks for posting this. I forgot to mention: a belated Happy Thanksgiving to you. I hope you and yours had a fantastic holiday, and an equally amazing Christmas and New Years!

Best regards,

Christmas-themed campaigns in FR are fun! In 1997, one of our players made an adorable cartoon of festive Storm Silverhand wearing an elf helper outfit trying to fit crotchety Elminster into a Santa output. He is grimacing and wincing, all the while smoking his pipe.

I sorely regret not making a color photograph of that cartoon!

Decided to go a bit early, this year... Doing my annual thread necromancy and re-stickying this topic.

All the links in the first post (at least, the ones not lined through) are good; I just checked. We have "Nicholas the Gift Giver", his Palace, and his gnomes, in 3.x and 5E versions.

To those celebrating tomorrow: Happy Thanksgiving!

Doing my yearly thread necro, and temporarily sticky-ing the topic.

The link to the 5E version is still valid:

Link starts to open a page then closes without any interaction I can see. Dunno if that means the site is gone or what?

It open my browser request to read PDF, your security setting might be blocking request.

I can view the file.

"Caring for afterwards ...? Ker repeated this without understanding.
"After action, afterwards," the dragon said. "Choose the afterwards first, then the action. Fools choose action first."

Or, since it's a direct link to a pdf, it's automatically downloading the file.

The 5E link is still good, and since I've had one of my Thanksgiving dinners*, it's time for my annual stickying of this thread so people can download a Christmas adventure from WotC. The link is in the first post.

*(We had dinner with my in-laws, yesterday... My vegan in-laws. I am not vegan, so we will be doing a smaller dinner with a proper turkey for just the three of us, upon the morrow)

I normally wait until I've had my Thanksgiving dinner... But Thanksgiving is later than normal, this year, and I once more have to suffer through a vegan meal before getting the real deal the next day...

So I'm sticky-ing this a bit early. It's the 2014 5E rules, and the link in the first post still works (it is a link directly to the pdf, so it will either open in the browser or download).
