Posted - 30 May 2007 : 21:56:11 Anyone know any other information on Omm Hlandrar than the below? I'm looking through Shining South, because I have a nagging suspicion that there's something in the history section. What I didn't realize is that this guy must still be around (whether immortal, undead, or simply recently resurrected or brought out of stasis... I dunno) since he fought old Velsharoon 500 years ago, but he was still worried about the man when the Vaunted one was setting up his ritual with Talos.
****************************************** From 3e shining south
827 DR ( Year of the Sacrificed Fortune) The wizard Omm Hlandrar of Halruaa engages a Red Wizard named Velsharoon in a spectacular magicalbattle in the skies over the Shaar. The contest ends in a draw
from FA1 Halls of the High King
Velsharoon's many enemies (notably the ruling Red Wizards and the archmages Halder of Delzimmer, Omm Hlandrar of Halruaa, The Simbul of Aglarond, and Elminster of Shadowdale) are said to be concerned for the safety and stability of the Realms (and their own persons) if Velsharoon achieves his goal. |

Posted - 31 May 2007 : 02:16:18 I don't think there's any other references in 3e Shining South or any other product other than the Velsharoon write-up in Powers & Pantheons. Thomas stuck that history reference for George and me.
The entry found in FA1 first appeared in Polyhedron. I can't recall if this is a longer reference or not. (I believe you asked about this on another thread and someone answered.)
