I'm trolling about looking for a bit more lore on Gildenglade (or Turmish in general)

I own and have read the Vilhon Reach boxed set and have read all of the 1st and 2nd ed FRCS stuff (and own most of it) and I also heard there was a book about some characters from Turmish (don't remember the name off the top of my head)

Anything else that the wise sages of Candlekeep know of? I'd really love anything that focused on setting rather than stats :)

Thanks

Yes, there is.

And actually, I'll be the proud new owner of a few Polyhedron's in roughly a week :)

Anyhow, thanks for the info, I'll troll about and see if I can't find some on ebay or through a gaming site of some sort . . . or I'll whine and cry about it ;D

You can try nobleknight.com as well, I suppose... but the prices for old POLYHEDRON issues varies there as well.

IIRC the old polyhedron magazines (that is those before piazo aquired the publishing rights for polyhedron in 2002) are not officially on sale anymore. From 2003 onward polyhedron magazine was one in one with Dugeon magazine and the #ing continued. Dungeon #90 or so and Polyhedron #140 and something were one and the same magazine. Unfortunatelly the ones you need accourding to the Sage are all before that date. So it seems you have to try your luck on eBay or something.

Could be, could be.

Who's to say, who's to know? ;D

I was just seein if anyone else might have a little gem hidden in their brains :)

I hadn't realized that Mel's book was as recent as it is though, found that out on some FR page.

Does anyone know a source to get the Polyhedron's for less than 10$ a pop though? Even if it's only pdf's, as I don't quite have the cash for all that (damned bills!)

Didn't I answer this at WotC a while back?

Anyways... The coverage of Turmish in POLYHEDRON:- #96, 98, 101, 103–108. These contain some lore that didn't make it into Vilhon Reach accessory.

See Mel Odom's The Jewel of Turmish novel also.

Ed's Polyhedron articles. Someone will be along directly to point you to issue numbers etc. All my stuff is in storage as of yesterday.
