I'm filtering through George's WotC replies now... removing the non-Impiltur parts of each reply.

Posted - 29 Nov 2006 : 17:14:24 I too would be most interested in that compilation.
My characters are currently in Impiltur (Thanks to George's article ^_^) and I'd love to see more information on the place. |

And that ought to be worth a read, I look forward to seeing this. |

Well the basics are pretty much covered in my article. I'm not sure there's much more to say, really. If you have any specific areas of focus re Impiltur (religion, geography, magic, history etc.) that you want clarification on, please ask and I'll see what I can come up with.

I did some serious research on Impiltur on the Candlekeep boards and wow. George you have inspired people and built something fantastic. I find it crazy that Faerun has so much variety. Its a dream world! I am excited to start adventuring in the lands of Impiltur and I will ask for help from time to time. I wouldn't mind a few bits of lore on how you would like Impiltur to be "better represented" per your original concept. Thanks for your reply. |

Posted - 20 Nov 2006 : 03:08:55 A Sage of Candlekeep never gets a moment to himself. He constantly endeavors to provide things such as Impilturan lore to lost scribes, give guidance to squabbling researchers of lore, and keep his spellbooks seperated from his lore books so that no "mistakes" happen around the tower. |

Posted - 20 Nov 2006 : 02:32:48 Will do.
It's on my "To-Do-List"... though, as Big Al or Wooly will likely tell you... that listing grows considerably. It now stands at nine items for Candlekeep.

Dude, Sage please announce when you finish with that compilation. Candlekeep is truly a place to find lore! |

Posted - 20 Nov 2006 : 01:29:34 If you're only looking for a paragraph, is the blurb in the FRCS not to your liking or not detailed enough? |

Posted - 20 Nov 2006 : 01:26:06 Additionally, if you're in the mood for published lore concentrating on Impiltur, the best information can be found by weaving together scattered references from the following products:-
Dreams of Red Wizards The Bloodstone Lands Sea of Fallen Stars Champions of Ruin and Champions of Valor -- Eric told us that he sees the Impiltur sections in both as a convenient mini-setting for Impiltur campaigns Dragon #277 - "Soargar's Legacy" -- George's detailing, with a little Impilturan lore, of these important weapons for the realm Dragon #346 - the aforementioned article Unapproachable East (last chapter) FRCS
-- And finally, my-soon-to-be-completed (like everything else I'm offering up to Candlekeep) compilation of ALL of Krash's "Impiltur" posts made both here at Candlekeep and over at WotC through the years.

And if you're lucky, George may even stop past this scroll a drop a few new points of his own regarding Impiltur.

Posted - 20 Nov 2006 : 01:11:24 Will do Sage. You have a good way with directing people. Next time my adventurers get stuck during a quest I'll have them visit you for knowledge. Thanks again friend! |

Posted - 20 Nov 2006 : 01:08:07 Asgetrion I'll check that Dragon out. I glanced at the referenced article before but wasn't "in to" Impiltur at the time. |

Wandering_mage, if you're looking for just a paragraph or so about Impiltur without actually looking at available published sources, I would suggest you perform a search here at Candlekeep. Krash has discussed the basics regarding Impiltur more than once, so if you're looking for a brief description, those posts should help.
