Posted - 18 Oct 2006 : 23:35:44 Edit: Eek wrong forum, this was meant to go in the Sage's of Realmslore. Please put it there mods :)
I keep hearing hints of Laeral's story in novels, but I'd like to know more about her, now either this is because it's so well known it's never a big deal, or that we don't know much about it :)
Can anyone suggest where I can find more information about her (I still have to read the Seven Sisters when I get a chance, so no need to include that reference).
Was it her that put on the crown of horns and went a bit mental or another sister? I'm also curious as to her heritage, I got the impression she had something to do with demons/devils or other nasty, but I may have dreamt that :)
I'm rambling, any pointers would be great. Thanks scribes |

Thank you, everyone, for answering my question that I didn't ask. It's always a pleasure to learn something from eavsdropping...Er. Did I say that outloud? Oh well... |

A selection of the "other places"...
1e/2e/3e FRCS, Demihuman Deities, Heroes' Lorebook, Pages from the Mages, Volo's Guide to All Things Magical (especially for her relationship with the Crown of Horns), and Volo's Guide to Waterdeep. Ed's Silverfall. Any novel that features Waterdeep.
And Ed's '04, '05, and '06 replies here at Candlekeep. Steven's as well.

Posted - 18 Oct 2006 : 23:47:30 Yes, it was Laeral with the Crown.
Um.... Lost Empires, Champions of Ruin, Steven's Blackstaff novel, Savage Frontier, the North, Silver Marches, Seven Sisters, Skullport, City of Splendors box set, the 3.5e Waterdeep sourcebook, and many other places all have history of her or the disguises she uses.
The three northern sourcebooks because of the info on the hold the she, and her adventuring group, used to use in the High Forest. |
