I've seen wines, beers, ales, and cheeses. But, I've never seen meat (other than "a good rothe steak") or fruit. Does anyone know of the delectable meat and fruit the realms have to offer? |

I seem to remeber in Realms of Elves Storm made a dish requiring fresh vipers or something. Yet another stomach turner. (I hate snakes!) Twould seem some people of the realms like it as unusual as possible.  |

I've heard it mentioned that people in the North like horse meat.
In the Dark Elf Trilogy, House Do'urden halted a caravan of grey dwarves in their way and confiscated some crabs, which I believe were implied as a delicacy. |

 I think that was one of the Malaugrym though. No doubt they have strange tastes.
Not that I haven't seem some strange (by my standards) meals eaten by humans in some books. |

Read some of Greenwood's books. I was getting near the end of Cloak of Shadows when a person pulled out a tombworm platter with some wine drenched brains of something and snail meat.  I'll stick with Rothe. I've had buffalo meat so it should be similar right? |
