Forgive me for not digging out all of my relevant sources, but did anyone that read the FR sidebar on dracoliches in Dragon 344 note if the items, dragon, and NPCs mentioned in the sidebar have ever been mentioned in Realmslore before?

Specifically, they mention a Dragon Cultist (presumably a Wearer of Purple from his discription) named Kardzen of Glarondar (CE male half-elf necromancer 7), the Grail of Shargrailar, a cup supposedly made from Shargrailar's horn, and a fang dragon named Nartheling.

Can anyone remember if any of these guys (except Shargrailar, I know about Shargrailar) are actually mentioned anywhere else? Supposedly if Nartheling becomes a dracolich using the Grail of Shargrailar, Shargrailar's spirit will enter Nartheling when it becomes a dracolich.

Let me know if you have any info, fellow scribes . . .

Nartheling is briefly mentioned on page 98 of Unapproachable East.

EDIT: he's also mentioned on page 86 of the same book.
