Posted - 23 Mar 2006 : 14:07:58 I'm a little confused about the Landrise in the Shaar. The FRCS says that warring Shaaryan tribes try to "occupy different sides of the cliffs to give themselves a chance of spotting their enemies as they approach." If I understand the Landrise correctly, if you were on the west side of the Landrise you'd be facing anywhere from 200 to 400 foot cliff face, and your enemy would have a distinct advantage over you, peering down at you from several hundred feet. Is there more information on ths in another sourcebook? I was thinking Shining South, but haven't had the chance to check it yet. |

Posted - 24 Mar 2006 : 06:05:58 Hello-
I was in a rush to get to work earlier - so I did not reply then.
I'm wondering if what is meant by "...occupy different sides of the cliffs..." is a left-right siding thing - and not an up-high and down-low diferentiation.
Just a thought...
