I have read Races of Faerun but I am mostly confused between Mulhorandi, Thayans and Mulans - are they the same ?
Also where can I find info about Mulhorand and lore about Horus-Re and his clerics and paladins ?
Hoping for aid. Thanks in advance. |

I am uncertain if you still utilize the site or not (I gather not), however, in light of my pursuit of old bits of information being once again brought to the forefront, I am updating those links! :)

Yes it does appear to be a good site, however one should bear in mind it also appears to be fan based. |

Posted - 29 Jan 2005 : 21:21:36 "Mulhorandi" and "Thayan" are nationalities; they denote what country a character hails from. "Mulan" is an ethnic description, describing cultural and (to a degree) genetic heritage. The vast majority of Mulhorandis are Mulan, as are the elite among Thayans.
There is some information about the faith of Horus-Re in Powers and Pantheons (the 2E sourcebook on minor human deities), Faiths and Pantheons (the 3E catch-all religious book) and Player's Guide to Faerūn (which contains a prestige class called the Eye of Horus-Re). There is also the 2E sourcebook Old Empires which discusses in some detail Mulhorandi society as a whole. |
