Also does anyone know where I can find info on the "Frost witches" who are mentioned under Afiliated orders in the F&A
Thanks in advance |

Steven who must confess he's not read ROW yet, though Jim's a good friend anyways...just one of those time-priority things....
It was one of the better Harper novels... I recently re-read it; I had no power and no work after a hurricane and thus plenty of time to read. |

Posted - 11 Dec 2004 : 17:23:32 As noted by The Hooded One in Ed's thread as well, you might get more response by asking Jim Lowder directly in his author thread (at least I think he has one...).
Jim's a good guy and I'm sure he's got a few more ideas on the matter, but then again, it's been a few years since he wrote Ring of Winter, so like me, he may've forgotten a lot of what he'd planned.
Can't hurt to ask him; if you get no response, everyone around here is sure to have an opinion or idea, given half a chance.

Posted - 11 Dec 2004 : 06:11:23 Ummm ... no, not really. Because they haven't been given any more detail other than in the two sources you cite. You might consider looking at SKR's "Codicil of the White" FR book on the WotC website, but you're pretty much on your own I'm afraid. In fact, Julia and Eric were rather cruel in naming a bunch of "Affiliated Orders" in F&A with no background or detail at all. But then again, grist for the FR DM mill.
