I have the 2nd edition book, The Great Glacier, and I can find no reference to the midnight sun. Though, in 3rd edition Sossal and the Great Glacier have moved north, compared to their previous locations in 2nd edition. Anyway, I have no idea if it now has the midnight sun (and polar night, etc). I would think they would, but anyone have a clue?

Learned Scribe Arravis,

Looking at the globe on the Interactive Atlas, that region is not in the 'arctic circle' (if you will), but it is very close to it. They would definitely be experiencing that longer dark/light periods at that latitude. All things being equal, I would say that that region would be around the 34 degree north zone, and that is roughly in that area.

Best regards,

Only problem is that we don't know at what latitude the Great Glacier and Sossal are at. The only source that "sort of" show it (as far as I know), is the FR Atlas. Unfortunately that's 2nd edition and in 3rd edition, both of those locations were moved considerably north compared to their current locations (so far north to be off the map).

Planetary axial tilt, rotation, and revolution are all exactly equal to Earth's.

Uuuh, tell me about it. Dark, dark, dark all winter. Yepp I would guess it has one to, since lots of other stuff is equal to earth why shouldn't this be. and ultimatly it's really up to the DM, as in most cases I guess. If you want one go for it. Otherwise it's just to do some calculations on the whole thing.
