A small hamlet located on the east bank of the river Chionthar between Scornubel and Berdusk, and practically under the canopy of the Reaching Wood. It is described in Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast (page 104) and receives a page of information.

Other than a few stray mentions in other texts, I have not seen more about this hamlet / village.

Do any of the scribes on the forum know more about this little known locale?

(both canon and fan-created material is welcome)

Master Ibn Huzal,

I'm bummed this never was developed more after so many years, but alas, it appears that the only source that covers this topic is the Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast.

Best regards,

Of course it is. I have already contacted Chyron to support him on the Western Heartlands. And the since I'm shifting gears - driving an automatic is easy but makes lazy - I'm thinking ahead as well, to include 1372 in regards to above topic.

It may also be an interesting tidbit to consider for those scribes who are working on these regions in the "Current Clack" project...

... an interesting tidbit, and certainly useful for my Twilight Dawn PbeM game... <gears are spinning>.

Though the information has no impact on the group as I had intended it for (they are on the Qheldin's Mask side of the river) it does offer some opportunities for the other group which is traveling along the west bank of the Chionthar. Surely there is some fall-out in the area - and it is only just over a year that the group passes the site.

Hmm... Bookwyrm, Kevin might get lucky...

Of course more input is still welcome. I don't want to make things too easy for the groups...

Did a name check on the town and only pulled this out of my Cloak & Dagger files (1370 DR)

Midsummer
At an impromptu Magefair just across the River Chionthar from Qheldin's Mask, chaos erupts among the wizards simply enjoying Midsummer and celebrating the Azuth's Ascension holiday. Three robed and hooded figures, each identified later by those survivors in the know as Manshoon, arrived amid hordes of summoned monsters and they slung incredible spells unseen by many at each other, though often catching many in the crossfire of reflected spells. In the time of a cat's stretch, more than 19 wizards, including one of the Manshoons, lay dead. The other two wizards collected a few items from the dead, launched devastating attacks at each other (which only caused more damage and four more bystander deaths) before both teleporting away.
