Posted - 03 Dec 2024 : 01:08:38 I'm curious. I see people discussing how they've created this map or that timeline and posted it... somewhere. I also know that a lot of the creators of the Realms hang out and post here. Are there projects that people here work on as a group? Do the sages at WotC reference them for official publications? If so, is there a way to get in on that action? I enjoy being part of this community and... well... I would like to be a part of it more. |

Posted - 04 Dec 2024 : 13:24:16 I look at people's posts here as opening ideas up for development, and most are perfectly willing to hear an alternate view and/or spin on what they post (some aren't mind you). AJA seems perfectly willing to take feedback on his NPC's that he throws out, and so I recommend reading them and seeing if they spark an idea that can take them in a totally different direction. Aulddragon also seems perfectly willing to debate rules based on the gods that he tries to flesh out. My favorite development for several years was working with Seethyr to try and develop areas outside of Faerun into believable campaigns (you'll see where we shared stuff from one another on DM's guild related to Anchorome, Maztica, and Lopango). |

Posted - 04 Dec 2024 : 13:14:03 There is never a shortage of help needed at the FR wiki, even for stuff that is already written, but are not well sourced or citations. |

Posted - 04 Dec 2024 : 09:34:23 Check ALL of the forums. Note that almost every forum has posts that are "sticky'd",,, meaning those areas stay at the top. Those articles that are 'Sticky'd' frequenty ask for colaboration. Make a note of those Forums/Articles, and post in them about your willingness to participate. Hope this helps! |

Posted - 03 Dec 2024 : 17:57:39 Occasionally, someone posts a request for assistance, but there's no secret groups or formalized process. Some of us have worked together for quite some time and keep helping each other out, so it's the same folks. I'd say, keep an eye, participate in the boards to be helpful and volunteer when you see someone ask. I've certainly seen several folks looking for someone to proofread their stuff or just looking for someone to bounce ideas off of, FWIW. |
