I'am trying to get as many informations about the jungles of Chult as I can. There is a map of Chult designed by Markustay: http://markustay.deviantart.com/art/Chult-111026533
Until now I could find informations of all details on the maps made by Markustay, that I want to use. But on this chult-map there is a city (Bêlit), about that I cannot find any informations. Is this settlement canon? Are there any resources (from any of the DND editions, from adventures, from the novels, the dragon magazines or any else?) where this city is mentioned? Or is Bêlit a homebrew settlement?
Thanks for any help Jerael |

Sorry about that - the Chult map was pretty bare for such a large area, and I wanted to 'spruce it up'. I think I named a couple of geographic features as well (but those names were taken from canon, I simply applied them to other things).
Bêlit is a pirate character from the Conan series, so that enclave was ruled by a 'pirate queen'. They are all natives of Chult, so they have the typical coloring and features. Unlike the 4e designers, I wanted to show a few other 'civilized' regions in Chult (if you can call pirates civilized LOL). Besides being a possible fun locale for an adventure in the area, i thought it would make another nifty background choice for folks wanting more options ('Chultan Corsair').
If I ever get back to that region (not really seeing that), I will change the name a little more - something more Realmsish like 'Baeliit', after their pirate queen. |

and theres a Novel from the Harper series The ring of winter thats set in Chult
Im pretty sure that mpa is 4th edition FR as the Jungle of Chult is an island on that map and it used to be attached to the main contient in earlier editions |
