Posted - 10 Mar 2015 : 23:30:55 Are there any swamp lands near Baldur's Gate (preferably south, east or west)? I've looked over various maps and the lands around Baldur's Gate seems pretty barren, what exactly is the terrain like? Would the Cloak Wood be considered swampy, I noticed there are two rivers running through it?
Any other details you guys can give on the terrain and wilderness would be great |

All of the lands south from Baldur's Gate to Amn on either side of the road are stated as being pleasant farmland. There's a swampy ravine to the north by the village of Roaringshore. The mouth of the Winding Water - also to the north - is noted as being a marsh. If you look at some of the monsters known to inhabit the Wood of Sharp Teeth though, it indicates that there's probably some wetland within there. |
