Can’t remember if I have asked this before, or if there a thousand post regarding this... So without further ado

As of 1370-1379 DR what is the location of The Ring of Winter?

I think that was one of the many topics unaddressed in 4E. However, considering that his primary center of worship was inexplicably destroyed, I'd say he's not doing too well, if he is still around. Which also begs the question of what happens with his job of watching for Dendar's return.

i got the impression that time will continue to advance and there will be a continuing history to unfold, but that lore would be presented in a way that it can be used in multiple eras. now whether that means its vague or if they present lore at multiple stages or maybe a mixture i have no idea.

Side question: will 5e be bound to continue the 4e chronology? Cause there were rumors that it would be not restricted to a timeline, especially in novels, but also in game modules - at least, that is what I understood when I read these rumors. Are there any news about it?

With the removal of the Mezro (and various deities) from FR, I am not sure if his wife would still be immortal.

Although, since she is very much like a Chosen, she may have kept her immortality beyond the life of her god.

Idea:
They should create three other (seasonal) Rings, tie them to the Fey somehow, and give us a really good trilogy.

Are you talking 4ed? I was refering to 3.x around 1374 ish. And I dont remember removed dieties at that time?
I was thinking in terms of 'now' (which is different for everyone, I guess). It is possible that both Artus and his wife may have been alive in 4e, and on into 5e.

I was more responding to what Seravin said then to your original question - apologies.

We all know the Ring of Summer is held by two small children who are chosen of Gond... named Phineas and Ferb!

The also have the Ring of S'winter (aka the Ring of Wummer) and the Ring of S'Fall!

Hi, I think it is in the possession of Artus Cimber at that time as that would be after the events of the novel "The Ring of Winter". He's immortal and nearly invulnerable while in possession of the ring, so likely still in his hands (along with his immortal wife). They were exploring and adventuring in Cormyr or in their home city in Chult after the novel.
