I have been trying to find out what kind of weather/temperature/environment the Endless Wastes and Taan is home to.

I might blind, but I have yet to find that info!

THX

The thing is im running a campaing there and realy need that info, to create a deeper feeling about the area. They are traveling to Winterkeep soon and therefor most importent to throw the correct weather at them!

The climate of the Central Steppe is describe on page 112 of The Horde, which is where Amlorel is located. All the terrain-types for the Taan are covered, and that info includes things like rainfall tables.

Assume the area around The Lake of Mists is of the clay, rather then the sand, variety of soil.

A RW comparison would Lake Baikal, in climate and description, not size (the Gbor Nor/Brightstar would be closer in size).

EDIT: Some of the surrounding conditions (some minor flora and fauna) are described at the very beginning of Frostfell. There is at least one tiny island in the lake, which I include on my Hordelands map.

-Depends what spot you're in. Some places in the Endless Wastes are more parched than others, some areas are more mountainous than others, and so on. It's a very varied environment, because it's such a large place.
