Apologies if this has been asked and answered before.
Can anyone tell me the names of a few common games like poker or craps?
I know about Knucklebones (craps variant)
I still have my 1st Ed DMG that has all the variants of craps and poker.
I do seem to remember a reference somewhere to a game called Dwarf Toss.
One wonders if the Dwarves were volunteers.
And are the games regional?
What is played in Waterdeep may or may not even be known of in Sembia (or be called a different name).

There's a card game mentioned in The Greater Treasure . . . though the version suggested is considerably more steamy than the way it's usually played. 
And I believe if any real-world game is likely to crop up during one of Elminster's occasional visits to the Frozen North, it would be poker. There's been one particularly notorious game that appeared in a short piece I wrote, though the censors would be all over that.
