I did some checking and I see "Into the Dragon's Lair" and "Pool of Radiance: Attack on Myth Drannor" listed as 3E products on wikipedia, but I have both of these and quite frankly, they lack the 'feel' of 3E products, and surely lack the exterior look (they have designs similar to 2E products like Skullport, rather than 3E products like City of the Spider Queen).

Do you classify this stuff as 3E or 2E?

Neither had the 3e Realms design and page layout, which is why they look a lot like some of the very late 2e books. But they're much more 3e than 2e.

I don't have these products, but I think they were published some time before the 3E FR campaign setting, so the 3E look and feel hadn't yet made its appearance. I couold be wrong though...

They are early versions of 3e but when they were published, 3e hadn't fully be finalized yet. So, you might find some 2e rules in them but in general, they are 3e.

Are you using those terms to refer to something other than rule systems? Because the rules are clearly 3E.

The artwork still looks like 2E though.

If you go by rules, they are 3E products, but they have a 'cross-rule level' feel to them like the last 3 adventures in 3E (Cormyr, Shadowdale, Anauroch) have a 4E feel to them.

Where's the Spock-eyebrow emoticon?

I don't believe CSA have a 4E feel to them at all.
