Posted - 10 Jul 2008 : 06:24:55 Can someone tell me how old is Piergeiron, the Open Lord of Waterdeep? I mean, he became Open Lord in 1314 and remains at least until 1374! That's almost fifty years of rule...and he certainly wasnt fifteen when he was named...So how old is he?
Thanks! |

Posted - 10 Jul 2008 : 13:55:55 I recall this tidbit from Steven Schend on the topic of Piergeiron's age...
"Piergeiron is far older than Khelben's public persona. After all, for the 99% of the Realms who believes him to be Lhestyn's and Zelphar's son, he's only 54 or so, which means Piergeiron was around to greet him and change his diapers.
Never mind that WE know Khelben was one of the mentors of the first Open Lord Ahghairon....."

Posted - 10 Jul 2008 : 07:42:41 It is well known that Ed Greenwood's characters (such as Durnan, Mirt and also Piergeiron) have unnaturally lengthend their lifespan by using quite a few Longevity Potions, under in the 2nd Ed. rules that is. With the 3rd Ed. change of rules such potion no longer exists....
However, I cannot give you his exact age as I don't know his date of birth, though I can tell you who his father was: Athan 'The Shining Knight'. If that helps anyhow... |
