I remember reading in a post here about there being a Shou-Lung embassy in Elversult now. I believe I asked this before, But I can't find the original thread -

What novel or short story/anthology did that take place in?

Also, isn't Eversult a REALLY strange place for the Shou to be interested in doing business with? Its not even on the coast!

Althought the embassy itself wasn't mentioned, the ambassador (Prince Tang) was also featured in Crucible: The Trial of Cyric the Mad. He was the guy to whom Mystra gave the magic sword that ultimately allowed Mask to escape Kezef the Chaos Hound.

Hmmm... Okay... guess I WON'T be mentioning it then...

Thanks for the info, guys.

Cheers --- Mark

The Shou Embassy in Elversult was destroyed in the Year of Rogue Dragons (1373 DR) - Grand History p.42. It is unclear if it was later rebuilt.

Eytan mentions it in the beginning of his articles on Eastern Classes in the Realms.

But it looks like it may have first been discussed in The Veiled Dragon.

EDIT: It seems I need to hit refresh more often.

The Veiled Dragon in the Harper series if I remember correctly. As to why? Its been years since I read it, but I seem to remember it being OK.
