Has anyone compiled or found a compiled complete timeline of the Realms? Including all the books and computer games?

Master Zeromaru,

Thanks for the share!

I agree, the share by year is unfortunate, but it is good until another history book comes out.

Best regards,

Master Krashos,

Absolutely! Since I knew Tethtoril's Shelf would have that, I figured, I might as well plug the awesome that is the entirety of this site.

Best regards,

Of course, since this thread appeared, WotC have published "Grand History of the Realms" which remains the most comprehensive, published FR timeline in existence.

Great Reader Hawkins,

As a followup, this amazing site has had epic updates, and here is the 'Keep's bibliography:

http://www.candlekeep.com/index.html, titled as Tethtoril's Bookshelf.

Best regards,

Thank you for your help! =)

I think O-Love took most of AJA's work and added to it with many novel sources and references, so her timeline is more comprehensive, if not more recently updated.
George Krashos Posted - 01 Jun 2004 : 13:24:23
I have the profoundest respect for AJA's work and although some of the stuff in his timeline can be considered "non-canon" that is only so in the sense that the references have come from unpublished utterings from Ed and other FR scribes of renown (ala Eric Boyd). As Ed has noted himself, those references are (at least in his opinion) 'canon' until WotC say or print otherwise. We are slowly trying to get the bulk of the "non-canon" historical work into published products to lend them officiality but with only a few products a year (scattered across the length and breadth of Faerun) this isn't a swift process. And, to be honest, I've always taken the tack that fan-based historical work and datings - that are grounded in the sources and explained in conjunction with the sources - are just as official as anything published by WotC. To lend an element of hubris to this post - I think my "North Timeline" is about as canon a timeline document as you could expect to get, whether published by WotC or not. But hey, YMMV.

Another one that is pretty comprehensive, although there is a lot of non-canon material included. Be warned, it's pretty big:

Enjoy!

Most can't, but I am more than just a regular Giant Space Hamster. I am the Giant Space Hamster of Ill Omen! I am feared everywhere by gnomes who don't even admit I exist!

In short, I am a special case.

My favourite - though it hasn't been updated for a while - is http://www.o-love.net/realms/.

Alaundo,

Will the above link provided by the Wooly Scribe be 'permanently' added to the Candlekeep library?

Well met

Indeed, Mumadar. In fact, I'm working on collating a list of valuable locations for such information. I will be providing a sticky topic listing all useful sites. If anyone has anything specific they would like included, then please contact me.

I thought there was a recent thread which provided some possible resources for a comprehensive timeline of the Realms. Not sure if it included computer games, but I know the ones I've seen included book events. Try the Search function and if you have no luck give a shout.

Well there are some good timelines out there, and by books and computer games do you mean the year(s) they happen or a complete list of all the dates mentioned inside them as well?
