Posted - 01 Mar 2005 : 19:09:15 Has anyone experienced an issue with your characters getting stuck into walls? It is quite possibly my PS2, but I did speak with a friend who does some beta testing for a local software company and he said it may be just some glitchy bug or something? Just wondering if anyone else noticed anything? |

A word of advice: do NOT get Demon Stone for PC. It is perhaps the buggiest game ever made. Not only do characters get stuck on walls, but on 5th level the raft actually sinks, making you unable to proceed and having to start over again (I started over some 34 times, I believe). In addition, on the 7th levels with the trolls, you need to slay all the trolls in an area to proceed, however due to pixel reasons, some of the trolls would not die when attacked with fire, thus making you unable to proceed (I started over that level some 20 times). Lastly, the load times for ATI graphic card users are one to two minutes for each level. My opinion is that you should stick to the consle ones for Demon Stone; the PC one is simply too buggy. Also, there is no patch for Demon Stone to the best of my knowledge.
Unfortunately, it bows down to Temple of Elemental Evil. We've a litany of bugs for that one chronicled around here. |

Posted - 01 Apr 2005 : 18:13:48 The game on xbox runs very smoothly, but I heard from a friend that when played on a PS2 and a PC were very glitchy, and he had to restart several times to get characters unstuck out of walls. |
