In this image from Blood & Magic it depicts the harpies and gobins coming down to attack. The harpies are flying and the goblins are in some kind of sleigh? I'm not sure if it's touching the ground or it is something that the harpies are flying down. What is your opinion? Is it some kind of airship or sleigh? Maybe it's some magical hover craft? I'm trying to figure out exactly what it is and I'm perplexed.

It could be a mega-toboggan of some sort, though it's been a long time since I played Blood & Magic so I'm not sure if it fits the maps for that campaign. |

Its not a sleigh. There's no rails.
If I had to classify it with no more knowledge than the picture, I'd label it akin to a hovercraft that's working like a modified "tenser's floating disk". By that, I mean, it can't fly over chasms. It sits a few inches above the ground. Maybe it "follows" where someone puts out an object for it to follow. and that's why the one guy is standing up at the front. Just a thought. |
