So these seven new NPCs include a dwarf wizard, a Mystra-worshipping elf, a half-orc sorcerer, a kobold bard, and a beardless female dwarf. I understand why a player might want such a gimmicky concept in lieu of developing an interesting character, but what are professional designers doing with this drivel?

Bioware has been developing Forgotten Realms computer games for what, six years, and still shows no sign of having any kind of feel for the setting. Rather odd.
