Posted - 13 Feb 2007 : 13:57:28 Well met everyone.
As you can see this is my first post on the Candlekeep forum. I am reading here for a while now but didnt post. I hope this will change from now on.
Anyway as the Subject already says my question is what should be the next Novel that i should read after i finish the Starlight&Shadow Trilogy that i am reading atm(almost done with it something like 80 pages left). I have also read the Avatar series, prince of lies,Crusible and Elminster: The making of a mage. I am thinking to get the Darkelf Trilogy but to be honest i dont want to get stuck with Drizzt since there are too many Novels about him and it will take too long to read them all, i rather want to read different Novels.
Thanks in advance for any advice and sorry for any grammar mistakes i make my English is not perfect( yet ) |

Posted - 14 Feb 2007 : 10:44:50 Greetings again,
after reading though the Scroll that the Sage gave me i desided to read Evermeet next and after that The Cormyr Series since i always loved what Cormyr is all about and for what it stands for. Now i have a little problem about The Cormyr Series. What is the exact orden of the books and witch are the books exactly because i get a little bit confused about it.
Thanks alot for the help guys. |

Posted - 14 Feb 2007 : 09:50:54 My personal favorites are all OOP so you might do some hunting before you find them:
The Empires trilogy
and
Azure Bonds and its sequels.
Oh, and welcome to the club...err, 'keep |

Posted - 13 Feb 2007 : 15:46:00 I will second Shadowbred, but you might want to read Shadow's Witness and the Erevis Cale trilogy first, since Shadowbred is effectively the fifth Erevis Cale book. |

Posted - 13 Feb 2007 : 14:37:52 I would suggest some more of Elaine Cunningham's work, if your enjoying Starlight and Shadows. The Songs and Swords series, starting with Elfshadow, is highly recommended, and there's a 'Best of EC' coming out next month, full of her short stories. If you can go for Hardbacks, then Swords of Eveningstar is a good new trilogy that's just started. Hope this helps! :) |
