                | IlexGarodan | Posted - 13 Feb 2007 : 03:11:36 Checking at my local comic store (where I also buy my D&D books), I found a comic rack filled with the old Forgotten Realms comic series-- issues #1-14 and the Annual. And with the low price of $1.00 Canadian per issue, I feel as though it's a steal!!

To those who have read and/or own the issues, is it worth it?

cool. I noticed Amazon has the trade lsied as already being out which I knew couldn'y be right

The first trade should be out before too long. I'm writing a foreword for it. As soon as we have an ETA for publication, I'll let the board know. The third issue, which has the first half of Jeff Grubb's adaptation of "Elminster at the Magefair," should be off to the printer pretty quickly, too.

 Cheers,
 Jim

Thanks for the info Jim and good luck with this

The first issue sold well. The second issue is at the printer and should be ready soon. After that, the issues should be coming out more regularly (meaning the trades will, too).

 Cheers,
 Jim

Issue #3 has been solicited, and you can see the cover for the Realms story here (it's the first of a two-part adaptation of a story that was mentioned already as one you wanted to see):
