The short story is from Realms of the Dragons I, which I have finally gotten around to reading.

My question is - does anyone know if the golem that the dwarves find has been statted anywhere?
I did a quick check of the Draconomicon and that is referring to other golems, not golems designed to fight dragons of a certain colour.

I believe that particular construct was indeed unique to the story, and hasn't been given game stats, as far as I know.
