Despite the constant advice against it, I finally crumbled and bought the Baldur's Gate novelization. One thing which has caught my eye, however, is that on the second page there is an advertisment for not only BG2:Shadows Of Amn and ToB, but also (apparently coming soon) Neverwinter Nights: An Anthology.
I've done a quick online search, but have come up with nothing. Was this ever released, and if so, is it any better than the Bhaal Trilogy? What are your thoughts?

I appreciate your interest, Lucius, but I don't think so, for two reasons.
One is that since the story is set in the Realms, I don't exactly own it. It incorporates WotC's intellectual property, and I can't just dispose of it however I please.
The second is that I may one day extract key elements from it (leaving behind all the stuff that's specific to the Realms) and incorporate them into some other work. |

If it's not going to see the light of day, is there no way you cuold release it in PDF format, perhaps for a fee?
If not, would you consider placing it upon your website, like Clayton Emerys? |

Unfortunately, it was essentially impossible to find another place to publish one's Neverwinter Nights story, or at least that was how I felt about mine. It was a Forgotten Realms story, so it could only go to a market sanctioned to publish such tales. But it was way too long for Dragon Magazine, and the subject matter hasn't gibed with any of the Realms of Fill In The Blank anthologies Wizards has done since. Nor, I suspect, is it likely to be appropriate for one in the future. So I doubt it'll ever see the light of day. |

Indeed...as a HUGE fan of the game, I would also be quite interested in finding out if there are others of this collection available.

That's such a shame. The idea on Clayton Emery's website, that each tale gave clues and hints to artifacts, hidden easter eggs within game would have been great. It would have deffinatly helped inject some Realmsian feel to NWN, which it greatly lacked.
Going to give the short story a read. Does anyone know if there are any other tales from the Anthology available online, or added into other anthologies? |

It was never released but I believe that some of the short stories it was supposed to contain were printed in other mediums. But basically it's vaporware.
