Posted - 10 Feb 2003 : 12:57:15 I have not been keeping up with FR Novels over the past few years. I lost interest in the Realms with the Gods War and Time of Troubles. The last thing I recall reading was relating to Cyric and the Cyrinishad. With the new 3rd Edition, I am just getting back into gaming in the Realms and I am looking for any novels that concern Shar, Our Lady of Loss. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.
Thanks! --Dev |

Oops almost a spoiler...
I forgot about that one, makes for a nice, somewhat different, view on the Lady of Loss. |

Posted - 10 Feb 2003 : 13:18:38 I would recommend 'The Return of the Archwizards' series: - Realms of Shadow
- The Summoning - book I
- The Siege - book II
- The Sorcerer - Book III
These deal with very recent events in the Realms and with the influence of Shar. The scope of the events is comparable to the Times of Troubles, though IMHO a little less 'far-fetched'. If it is not only novels you're interested in, I can also recommend the 3rd edition Magic of Faerun acessory. It explains in some more detail the concept and history of the Shadow Weave.
