I'm hesitant to look through some of the other topics about these series of books because of potential spoilers. I have a very simple question though, that is probably answered in those topics.
Recently, I picked up Lady of Poison and The Alabaster Staff, which are the first in the Priest and Rogue series respectively.
From what I understand, all these books are stand alone. Is this correct? I can read back and forth in the series without waiting for sequels to be written?
Just want to see if I should read them when I'm done with Venom's Kiss, or I should shelve them and wait for the rest to be written?

Grin. The only one I rebought was Ed's "expanded" Spellfire, which is why It's mentioned about the reprint. Other then that I don't rebuy novels unless I have to because I once loaned them out and my friends destroyed them. But after the 2nd time that happened I stopped loaning them out except to a select few who know how to take care of books. :) |

As well, I like the possibilities for new and interesting wizard characters that the publication of this new series creates.

You're welcome. WOTC should update their site soon so we can get official descriptions and cover images as well for the upcoming novels. Until then, if you have a question about a certain novel, try the search function as many of the upcoming tomes have been discussed in previous threads.

We live to serve here on Candlekeep. :) As for new novels, at try the WIizards of the Coast web site?.... They should have a list of upcoming novels for most of this year.....
And well I had to keep a novel list since I have almost 1,000 and I didn't want to start buying reprints. WOTC loves reprinting novels with new covers or changing the titles. There's also a few other companies that do that also and it's a pain. :) |

And the Fighters starting later this year, with Master of Chains (Aug?) and Ghostwalker (Dec?), and the Wizards next year(??). Also stand alone series, unless I miss my guess.
