Well met

In the intro (and "outro") to "Realms of the Underdark", Brian M. Thomsen writes about the Tym Waterdeep Publishing House, the Faerunian publishers of Volo's Guides. Are there any other novel references to this, or to Justin Tym, the owner

Also, could anyone recommend Realms fiction featuring humour along these lines (ie, coded jabs and quips about real-life writers, publishers, etc. in a Faerunian setting)

A couple of authors have mentioned sliding in oblique references here and there... The only one I know of is in the novel The Wyvern's Spur, which has a not-overly-veiled reference to Clyde Caldwell and his artistic tendencies.
