I recently finished Realms of Shadow and I thought that Peter Archer's short story was among the best. This guy is a truly great writer, so why doesn't he write more in the Realms? I know he's an editor and all, but so is Phil Athans, and he still has time to write a novel and a trilogy, so what is holding Archer back from writing more novels/short stories?

I really loved his writing and his characters in Realms of Shadow and I hope that he starts writing more in the Realms. I just can't see how he can have so much talent and display it so rarely.

Discuss.

Mr. Archer added that he really enjoys writing about the character who features in both his Realms of Shadows and Realms of Mystery tales, and wants to use him again in future tales.
So there you have it.

Thank you very much, Hooded One. *bows*

I bounced the kudos to Peter via my own email, and if he has a public reply, I'll try and post something as well.

Who should be as busy as Ed or Peter but keeps procrastinating from packing and moving and preparing for a new job

Well met

Thank ye Hooded One, that would be most appreciated. The wonders ye work, ne'er cease

Ed tells me that Peter is probably just as busy (if not busier) than Ed himself -- in other words, he just doesn't have the TIME to do the writing he undoubtedly wants to do.
Ed and Peter talk by e-mail or phone at least once a week these days, so I'll get the Irrepressible Ed to ask Peter, and see if a reply of sorts pops out that I can post here, okay?
love to all,
THO
