Posted - 25 Mar 2004 : 14:08:22 Hi,
i started reading the "Threat from the Sea" trilogy.
But i want to know :
Who are the people on the covers of the three books ?
The big shark on the third book is probably "Iakhovas", and the Half-elf, also on the cover of the 3rd book, is probably Azla, but who are the others on the covers of the 1st and the 2nd books ????
THANKS in Advice

I can't believe it, but I'm fairly sure that particular issue of 'Dragon' was up on eBay not so long ago and I passed it by.
Typical!

(I know there's second edition stats for the half-elf pirate captain in 'Pirates on the Sea of Fallen Stars', but I've not seen any for the others.) I really liked the Lathanderite paladin in the trilogy. He was nice and chilled out, which made a pleasant change from the rather stereotypical uptight and intolerant paladin you see from time to time.
Bye for now!

Posted - 08 Apr 2004 : 16:16:36 The front cover of 'Under Fallen Stars' seems to tie in with the book's prologue in which a young triton is captured and tortured by a morkoth in a pretty horrific way. It seems a little strange for two extremely incidental characters to feature on a book's cover like that, but it's still a nice piece of artwork.

Posted - 26 Mar 2004 : 18:02:49 Well, it's been a while since I read the books but here you go. Rising Tide --> Jherek and Laaqueel. Under Fallen Stars --> No idea, I don't remember a triton character in the trilogy , but IIRC, there was a triton in one of the stories in Realms of the deep. The monster is a Morkoth. The Sea Devil's Eye --> Iakhovas and Azla. |
