Hi,

i started reading the "Threat from the Sea" trilogy.

But i want to know :

Who are the people on the covers of the three books ?

The big shark on the third book is probably "Iakhovas", and the Half-elf, also on the cover of the 3rd book, is probably Azla, but who are the others on the covers of the 1st and the 2nd books ????

THANKS in Advice

Cheers, Kuje!

I can't believe it, but I'm fairly sure that particular issue of 'Dragon' was up on eBay not so long ago and I passed it by.

Typical!

Yours,

JDD

He was nice and chilled out, which made a pleasant change from the rather stereotypical uptight and intolerant paladin you see from time to time.

Issue #255 of Dragon had stat's for most of the people in those novels. :)

Iirc, it was also a bracer that turned into a shield when needed, wasn't it? Impressive description about it having a kind of oil on water rainbow sheen effect or something. (I'd be able to tell you for sure if I was at home, but I'm at work at the moment.)

Speaking of this trilogy. Was there ever stats done for Jherek's sword. If I recall. It was a pretty awesome blade.

I agree.I thought that the cover art for this trilogy was pretty good.

The front cover of 'Under Fallen Stars' seems to tie in with the book's prologue in which a young triton is captured and tortured by a morkoth in a pretty horrific way. It seems a little strange for two extremely incidental characters to feature on a book's cover like that, but it's still a nice piece of artwork.

Well, it's been a while since I read the books but here you go.
Rising Tide --> Jherek and Laaqueel.
Under Fallen Stars --> No idea, I don't remember a triton character in the trilogy , but IIRC, there was a triton in one of the stories in Realms of the deep. The monster is a Morkoth.
The Sea Devil's Eye --> Iakhovas and Azla.
