Posted - 31 Jan 2014 : 08:08:21 What books are out there set in the distant past? I'm aware that there were some books about Karsus, but are there any others? What I'd really like is something from -10,000DR or earlier, but that's probably too much to ask for. So, anything besides the Karsus books? |

Posted - 06 Feb 2014 : 07:48:35 Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I wasn't expecting much, since, as sleyvas says, humans weren't in the position they're in "today".
What I wouldn't give for a series set during the time when the Creator races were around and kicking... |

It is written a little bit like the Evermeet novel.
And is one of the best realms books I have ever read. Love that book. |

Also not exactly what you're looking for, but it features two different adventurer parties centuries apart who must work "together" when their respective curent adventure suddenly effect each other through time and space due to some temporal anomaly or something (it's a while since I read it) |

Timeline of most of the books/short stories. Not extremely helpful for what you're looking for, but I think that's because of a lack of material. |

Posted - 31 Jan 2014 : 13:56:03 given that most human civilizations are not around at that time, you won't necessarily find novels. You may find the occasional short story however. You are more apt to find information in sourcebooks. |

Posted - 31 Jan 2014 : 12:42:54 Ah, I see now. I just read the synopsis on the FR wiki, and that's definitely a good suggestion. Thank you!
I'm still open to more suggestions, though. |
