The book is OK so far, but it certainly doesn't feel like a realms novel and this fact is exacerbated by the fact that it takes place in a timeline so far removed from EVERYTHING else that I'm finding it difficult to care about the outcome of any of it. It almost seems like the book was written as a generic D&D book or even a planes ape book and then was retrofit to work in the realms....sort of.
Anyone else have any thoughts or insights on this one? |
