So I now have the Google Nexus 7. A lovely little 7 inch tablet. It's the perfect size for reading e-books as well, being similar in size to the Kindle Fire. I still prefer reading paper books but I now have a proper device for reading those books not released in paper format. I have the Kindle app and the Kobo app installed. But being a Google device, this also has Google Books integrated. As I like the look and feel of Google Books better, I will probably use it when at all possible. But I see that there are no Forgotten Realms books available for purchase there. Can any authors tell me if there are currently plans to make the TSR/Wizards books available through Google Books and other marketplaces! I'll get them via the Kindle store if I have to but it would be nice to have an option.

Thanks, I will go to the Wizards Community boards, or email them. Unless Google is unreasonable with their cut of the profits, I see no logical reason to leave google books out.

I am pretty sure that there are no current plans to release WotC eBooks anywhere other than on Amazon and Barnes & Noble right now. Your best bet is to go to the WotC D&D Community forums and post something there as to the fact that you have a desire to read them in that format. You might also try downloading a few different ePub (pretty much universal except for Kindle eBook format) readers and openning an free eBook (check out Cthulhu Girl for free compilation of all of H.P. Lovecraft's works) in all of them until you find an interface that you like.

I can't answer your question, but I can express a similar sentiment: I wish Google Books sold D&D novels.

Having worked on the Google Books project for a couple years and also having purchased books through Google Books, it vexes me when I see novels listed in Google Books that are only available through other online/brick and mortar retailers.

I too prefer Google's online reader format to the Kindle online reader.
