Posted - 11 May 2012 : 14:27:34 I see that many of the scribes use character names for their name here at the Keep. What are some of your own favorite personally created character names from a player character?
A few of mine are:
Jhantar Thaylavon- CG Human Male Swashbuckler, 2E AD&D Garol Dreamshard- NE Human Male Psionic, 2E AD&D |

Posted - 16 May 2012 : 19:36:31 *Blink* Favorite, not quite sure, however Thomas Kentinal is what my user name is based on.
LE, now duel classed Fighter/Thief, always looking to build his empire and his personal pleasure. He never breaks the laws, however makes the laws so he does not break them. *G* |

Lol besides Cattie-Brie and Alustriel, she was the only other female character I remember from that book. |

Rylatar, a slightly crazy, always stylish 4e drow thief
Mask, a frightful and intense masked 3.5e warmage
Whisper, sneaky and charismatic 2e moon elf thief, named after her late mistress (whom Artemis Entreri killed in Streams of Silver)

Named after the county?
People usually catch on to Nunya. My brother used it in EQ.
Yes, I named her after the county. I get many of my names off maps, including Argonne (a Belgian forest, I believe). I've also used Dade (Ranger) and Broward (fighter), among others.
I also named a emale elf wizard Alundrial, long before I ever heard of Alustriel. |

Posted - 15 May 2012 : 22:46:16 I did always love my dwarven clerics name, Thygus Muggerson |

Posted - 14 May 2012 : 02:19:31 -My favorite characters:
Alton Honeywell: LG Human Cleric (Lathander) 5 / Morninglord 5 / Contemplative 4 (3e)
Gafgarian Dragonsbane: LG Human Paladin 12 / Church Inquisitor 5 (3e)
Daerian Sunstar: LN Sun Elf Wizard 6 / Loremaster 10
Captain Jonas Prak: CN Human Swashbuckler 5 / Drad Pirate 9 (3e)
-I only actually played the first two as PCs. The middle one was created for Elves of Faerūn and the last one was created as a mentor/partner/father-figure for a character in a campaign I ran. |

Posted - 11 May 2012 : 15:00:34 I have several character names I like, but the most played by me are:
AD&D
Dalor Nal'Raesik Darden, NE (formerly LE, and before that LN) High Alphatian (exile to Faerun) Shade Fighter/Illusionist/Magic-User
2e AD&D
Grayson Haeldreth, LN former War-Wizard of Cormyr; tried to establish himself as Lord of Scardale, but only managed Scardale's Port
Aerik "Stormraven", CN Dalesman Mercenary Fighter/Thief that hated the Naug-Adar of Zhentil Keep with a seething passion, and the Zhentarim by default as well.
3e D&D
Kaern Stormraven, LE Illuskan Wizard of the Hosttower in Luskan; a sea captain and agent of Luskan. (his real name was Aerik Stormraven too...I really liked the name I guess!)
I've played many other characters...but these were some of my favorites.
EDIT:
Had to include Maelkith Karn (2e), LN Fighter; a man who hugged a Lich to REAL death. |
