Uh, oddball question, how many have been published?
I sort of fell out of things soon after 4E was published.
I know about the two new Drizzt novels and the two new Elminster novels. |

All four books are post-Spellplague, as I recall. The Fanged Crown begins in 1479 DR, The Restless Shore references the events of the Spellplague, The Edge of Chaos features a tale set in the Plaguewrought Land, and Wrath of the Blue Lady features post-Spellplague developments in the Sea of Fallen Stars.
Yes, they all have years at the beginning, and they're all in the 1470s. I would personally say three of the books are great. Wasn't too keen on...I believe it was The Restless Shore. |

Unholy (Book 3 of The Haunted Lands) is 4e. The Spellplague breaks out partway through Undead (Book 2), so it's a judgment call whether it's a 4e novel or not. |

I second this. If you're interested and if you don't mind a spoiler or two, you can read my review on Unclean. I planned to review the rest, but a lot of things stole my precious time. The trilogy, IMHO, is Richard's best work...yet. |

I will second the Haunted Lands Trilogy, which starts pre spellplague and ends in the current era. And Richard's Brotherhood of the Griffin books are good as well. I honestly haven't read a 4E novel that I didn't like.
Here's the list I can come up with off the top of my head:
Brotherhood of the Griffin: Trilogy (with more on the way) following some of the characters from the Haunted Lands Trilogy as they journey to Chessenta and that general region (which is somewhat changed). The upcoming entries in the series are heading to Rasehman.
Blades of the Moonsea: Trilogy set in Hulburg
Ed Greenwood Presents Waterdeep: 6 novels by various authors set in Waterdeep post Spellplague (Mistshore, Downshadow, City of the Dead, The God Catcher, Circle of Skulls, and Blackstaff Tower).
Unbroken Chain: A series with 2 entires thus far that follow the Shadar Kai.
Sandstorm: This novel centers around a Genasi in Calimshan, which has undergone some major changes.
Dawnbringer : This one follows a pair of Devas across a large span of time that starts in the post-spellplague era.
Brimstone Angels: This follows a pair of twin Tiefling sisters in Neverwinter.
Total: 17
Those are the ones I have read. Here are ones I have not read.
Chosen Of Nendawen Trilogy (I did read the first book of this)
The Wilds: I believe these 4 are all post spellplague, but I have not read them so I don't know for sure.
Shadowbane: This is a follow up to Downshadow, and so far it is ebook only.
Sword of the Gods
Total: 9
So, that's 26, plus the two Drizzt books and the two Elminster books, making 30. Then there are also books that are part of other series that end in the 4E time frame. And several more are coming out next year as well. |

I've done four not counting the one that comes out in February. If that's about average for all of us novelists working in the setting, I believe there must be more than 20. Maybe quite a few more than 20. |
