Hi, all!

I remember my brother reading a novel. He recommended it, but he does not remember the title.
It is about DnD gamers who played the game in the world they created, and, as they played, the characters and world lived by life of their own. But then it turned to worse when one of the players created a monster that is supposed to be boss of encounter to kill the characters and destroy the imaginary world. And so it began... Or something.

Please help?

Thanks! Will start looking. He really wanted to read it again.

Sorry if my description sounded messy or incorrect.

another option could be Guardians of the Flame series by Joel Rosenberg

Quag Keep by Andre Norton is one fantasy novel where gamers discover that their D&D world is real. I don't remember if the plot matches what you're describing, but that could be the book your brother read.
