yes icewind dale comes first in publishing but Darkelf Trilogy is first in history. |

All you really need to know is that Drizzt is Public Enemy Number One in Menzoberranzan, and especially with his own family. His friends (Bruenor the dwarf, Bruenor's adopted human daughter Catti-brie, Wulfgar the Uthgardt, and Regis the hafling) and he have recaptured Bruenor's ancestral kingdom (think The Hobbit). The assassin Artemis Entreri is still at large.
