I realize that this is a long shot, but is anyone on here currently living in Northern Virginia/Southern Maryland/D.C. and interested in forming a gaming group?

*fingers crossed, waiting anxiously

Canadians gaming groups will probably be less frequent in the upcoming months, hockey season just started (go Habs go!)

If you ever end up in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada :)
I have a group of friends that games regularly, although I have not had occasion to join lately. They tend to favor games like Rifts and magic the gathering(Blah, I just sold most of my cards), and I GM a Vampire the Masquerade/Werewolf the apocalypse game. But One fellow does run DnD 3.5

We are a good group of gamers too lol. If we all decide we want coffee, we put the dice away and walk up to the coffee shop, continuing the game while determining rolls through Rock paper scissors.

I'm afraid of the "D&D FR night, no experience necessary, come and hang out and have fun!" flyers at the comic shop near here because as tempting as they look 1) either no one actually goes to those or 2) it's going to be a bunch of stat min-maxing kids who aren't going to actually want the "well, it says no experience necessary...I'll just sit over here in the corner and chill, then?" slightly-older-than-college-kid-age dork hanging around.

One of these days, one of these days...

I live in the middle of nowhere in Tennessee! It's right between over the hill and down yonder. You probably can't find it on a map either...i live here and i can't find it on a map...we're barely on Google Earth lol. And there is no gaming group out here as far as I can tell and gas is too expensive to try driving out to Nashville or somewhere to do anything. It's part of why I haven't played in any groups since..high school maybe?? I wish I did have one though.

We have room in our Sunday Night session which has dropped to three players sometimes two players and the DM; as many of the young dudes are off to college. Our Monday Night group of multiple edition aging veterans has actually grown to six and sometimes seven. This is of course happens about 4 to 500 miles south of your location.

I do travel up that way sometimes and try to schedule so I don't miss our gaming nights. If your ever on 95 South in North Carolina around exit 95 send me a message there are many demons and devil to kill on Sunday right now. On Monday ........Well if your character's in Waterdeep near the Hero Fountain/Garden, I hear there is a group of Outfitters selecting the finest recruits among the adventurers and mercenaries for a prize competition exotic hunt within the Undermountain. I am not sure who these Outfitters are or where the Prize funding comes from but I am sure some dangerous events will unfold once they have made their selections. This is all happening a Ten Day before High Harvestide and they are guaranteeing plenty of feasting and drinking before and after the Hunt
