I prefer to read mostly FR novels that deal with the Tel'Quessir (don't know of any other books thay have fey peoples in them, but if yu know, please tell me!!), some about the deities I like thay aren't fey-oriented, and the Elinster books. And I'd really lime to know spme FR books that deal woth or have vampires. So, is it bad for me to be picky like that in my reading? I feel lime I won't ever get a full grasp on lore if Ilike the ones I've listed beffore. But the others don't catch my attention or keep me drawn in ,.
P.S. I like the novels deal with deits that I like too.

Sorry for all of the typos in advance, I'll correct them in a little bit.

Doesn't Shar play a main part in the Avatar series?

As Wooly noted.

Her significant roles are only in The Sorcerer, the third book of RotA, and in the Twilight War.

There's a little background info on both Shar and her clergy in Mistress of the Night, the second novel of "The Priests" series.

None at all, in the novels, as I recall. She was in the AD&D comic, but that's about it. Shar was pretty much ignored until 3E, when WotC suddenly decided they had to make up for lost time with her.

I suppose almost all of us picky readers. I used to think I could and would read ALL Realms novels, but there are simply those which I could not literally and figuratively stand.

If you want novels that deal with deities, read the Avatar series, The Empyrean Odyssey, and The Twilight War trilogy. Just don't ask me about my opinion on the first two.
